The Shelton School District Board of Directors met in a special session at 5:00 p.m. on January 4, 2007 in the Central Office Conference Room.

 

Board members present:  Chairman Julianna Miljour, Sue McCausland, Peter Boome and Holly Sharpe.

 

Staff members present:  Superintendent Joan Zook.

 

Others present:  Gene Crater, Katie Sandridge, Marty Crow and Angela Arnold.

 

The purpose of the meeting was to interview the four candidates listed above for the vacant Director District No. 2 board position.

 

After interviews were completed it was the unanimous decision of the board to appoint Marty Crow to fill the open the Director District No. 2 position until elections are held in November 2007.  Marty will be formally sworn in at the January 9, 2007 regular school board meeting.
