Tami Stoutnar Hired as Special Ed. Director

At its April 15th meeting, the school board approved the hiring of Tami Stoutnar as the Director of Special Education.  Tami has been acting as Interim Director since this past October, when Molly Baasch, the former Director, took a job elsewhere.  Tami has been a special education teacher in various school districts since 1997, and was a team leader in recent years.  She has served in the role of Supervisor of Special Services in Tumwater School District and the Director of Early Start/Afterschool Tutoring in Phoenix, AZ.  She has her Master’s in Education and a Bachelor of Science and holds endorsements in K-12 Special Ed., K-8 Elem. Ed., Middle Level Math and Science.  She is currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Educational Leadership
