New School Board Members Sworn In

New School Board Sworn In by Auditor Karen Herr
At the special school board meeting on November 25th, 2015 the newly elected board members were sworn in by Mason County Auditor Karen Herr. The board also elected the new officers. By unanimous vote Sally Brownfield was elected president and Keri Davidson was elected vice president.

Plan of Action 2015-2018 and Beyond

The Shelton School District Plan of Action developed by Superintendent Alex Apostle and the School Board with input from all district staff was approved by the Board of Directors on November 10, 2015. The plan outlines eight goals for the district. The first goal addresses the need for a safe and secure teaching and learning environment and the second goal addresses academic achievement and graduation for ALL students. The next open community forum will be held on Monday, December 14th from 7:00-8:00 p.m. in the Mt. View Auditorium.  (Because of the holidays we are having just one open forum for the months of November/December).

NEW! Enroll and Pay Online for Traffic Safety Education  Classes will now be offered at the Oakland Bay Jr. High campus, but registration, program questions, and payments are being handled at the Educational Service District (ESD) #113.
