  • 1st/2nd Period -- Students will identify important facts about the Panama Canal.  Read pgs. 116 – 122 in text and answer questions on handout.
  • 3rd Period – Students will identify factors that caused people in Central America to immigrate to the United States.  Central Americans video.
 
 
Tuesday, Jan. 11th

Wednesday, Jan. 12th
  • Classroom Based Assessment introduction.  Students will be researching the factors that influenced the immigration of some groups from Latin America and then recording their findings in a 6 paragraph essay.  All of the research and the writing will be done within the classroom.  Final papers will be due on Thursday, Jan. 27th.
 
Thursday, Jan. 13th
  • Students will complete CBA Note Log #1
 
 
Friday, Jan. 14th
  • Students will complete CBA Note Log #2
