OMS Eagle

Mrs. Jones, her son Roman and daughter Violette on the Bremerton Ferry in September 2011.

About Me

Welcome to Sixth Grade Literacy!!!

I am Mrs. Jones (Ms. Munshower for those of you who may have known me before getting married).  I am looking forward to getting to know you all this year.

I just had a baby girl in June and will be home with her on maternity leave at the beginning of the school year.  I started out the year in class to get to know you a bit before I spend time with my daughter and look forward to getting to know you better when I come back in January 2012.

Ms. Aisenberg will be your guest teacher while I am out.  Ms. Aisenberg is a Dual Language Social Studies/Science teacher here at OMS and is on a leave of absense for the school year.  She will be leaving for Israel in early 2012.  Ms. Aisenberg's family was recently joined by her first granddaughter!

We will have many fun adventures with books and writing this year.   Make sure to read 20 minutes a day, read a book in your SRI (lexile) level and share with your parents/guardians about what you are learning in school!  Please check out my web links below, they may be helpful and will always be growing.
