7th grade math

Weekly objective:  students will be able to scale similar figures

Mon

 Students wil demonstrate the ability to use various scale factors to stretch and shrink similar quadrilaterals and graph them on the coordinate plane.

Tues.

Students wil demonstrate the ability to use various scale factors to stretch and shrink similar quadrilaterals and graph them on the coordinate plane then change their orientation (slide, flip, rotate).

Wed.

Students will determine the scale factors of similar figures given their dimensions.

Thurs.

Students will determine the area of similar figures (quadrilaterals and triangles).

 

Fri.

 

Students will determine the area of similar figures (quadrilaterals and triangles) and compare the areas to the scale factors (square and cube).
