Health and fitness has always been an
integral part of my life. I believe in an integrated approach to fitness
through: flexibility, core, balance, strength, and power training. From 2005 to
2009 I played Division 1 collegiate volleyball for Portland State University, where
I utilized this fitness approach in my own training. I graduated with a Bachelor
of Science degree in health studies with a focus in exercise science and
My background includes; assistant strength
and conditioning coach, core and boot camp fitness instructor, certified
personal trainer, nutrition consultant and health educator. I specialize in
sports performance, core conditioning, weight loss, strength training, correcting
postural form, injury prevention, as well as nutrition and supplementation.
My certifications/degrees include; National
Academy of Sports Medicine, American Council of Exercise, Dot Fit Fitness and
Nutrition Professional, and Masters of Arts in Teaching; Health Education.
It’s important to live in the moment and so I
enjoy spending quality time with family and friends. I am always looking for
new ways to engage in professional development to seek new ideas and grow
beyond my personal understanding. I also want to continue to inspire young
adults toward a healthier future.
