Intensified Algebra A and B

Course Description:
This course is designed for students who need more intense intervention in basic skills in order to be successful in algebra 1 level content and improve success on the Washington State End-of-Course algebra 1 exam. Enrollment in this course requires enrollment in an additional support class.
Prerequisite: Teacher recommendation based on placement data.


Math Analysis A and B

Grades: 11-12; full-year course; 1.0 credit(s)

Course Description:
This course is designed to prepare students for pre-calculus. It will include graphical analysis of functions along with review of algebra skills.
Prerequisite: Algebra 2 or Applied Algebra 2 and teacher placement.


Corrective Math A, B, C or D

Course Description:
Students will be tested to determine course placement. The focus of the course is to improve math skills. Students will work on addition, subtraction, multiplication or division skills, math facts and basic math skills.

Course Description:

Course Description:
This class is for students who require intensive intervention in mathematics. All basic operations will be included. This class is open to any student who is referred by a Math teacher and is fluent in reading, writing, speaking and understanding Spanish.
Prerequisite: Math testing with referral by math teacher and fluent in Spanish.


Algebra 2 A and B

Course Description:
Required for college-bound students. The course includes functions, exponential and logarithmic functions, analyzing data, statistics, periodic models, complex numbers, polynomials, sequences and series.

Course Description:
This course will cover geometry topics as a prerequisite to Advanced Algebra. Topics to be covered include deductive and inductive proofs, triangle geometry, dissections and area of geometric shapes, similarities, circles, ratios, volume, coordinates and vectors.

Calculus A and B

Course Description:
This course will investigate differential and integral calculus. This is an important course for students planning to major in engineering or the sciences.
Prerequisite: Successful completion of Pre-Calculus.


Pre-Calculus A and B

Course Description:
This course is designed for the mathematically talented and motivated student. It includes a study of functions, statistics and trigonometry. Graphing Calculator recommended for those planning to continue on to Calculus.
