Shelton High School

To provide a learning environment which challenges students to be responsible, respectful, productive life-long learners. Serving students in grades 10 through 12 in Shelton School District. Graduation Matters Shelton

Was officially chartered by the Navy the 24th of May, 1979, and has been commonplace in the community ever since.  Though the unit has changed a lot in the past 40 years, the fighting spirit and pride of Climber Company has remained strong.  The company plays an essential role in many community events.  Our cadets volunteer in events such as Oyster-Fest, the Forest Festival car show, and the Relay For Life.  Members of our unit may be seen throughout the year providing ceremonies such as color guards and 21-Gun salutes.
The unit attends many annual events, such as the Memorial Day celebration at Shelton Memorial Park, where we provide a color guard and firing detail.
"Is to instill in students in United States secondary educational institutions the values of citizenship, service to the United States, personal responsibility and a sense of accomplishment."
