SHELTON CLIMBER COMPANY NAVY JROTC

ABOUT US
SHELTON NJROTC
Was officially chartered by the Navy the 24th of May, 1979, and has been commonplace in the community ever since.  Though the unit has changed a lot in the past 40 years, the fighting spirit and pride of Climber Company has remained strong.  The company plays an essential role in many community events.  Our cadets volunteer in events such as Oyster-Fest, the Forest Festival car show, and the Relay For Life.  Members of our unit may be seen throughout the year providing ceremonies such as color guards and 21-Gun salutes.
The unit attends many annual events, such as the Memorial Day celebration at Shelton Memorial Park, where we provide a color guard and firing detail.

The general public is invited to this event.  At 1800, or six o'clock PM, we will be conducting a Pass in review in the Shelton High School Mini dome.  A Pass in Review is the name for a parade where the company renders honors to the inspecting officer and other guests of honor.
Their is no cost for admission, and we encourage every member of the community to come.
