About Me:

I am originally from Silverdale, WA and after 5 years in the South I am happy to be back in the great Pacific Northwest.  I earned a Bachelores of Biology from Austin Peay State University in Tennessee, followed by my Masters of Education at Pacific Lutheran University in Tacoma.  My strengths in biology include Gentics, Cellular and Molecular biology, Human Anatomy, and Human Physiology.  I love teaching in biology as it can be used to explain the mysteries of all living things and specifically humans!!!

Outside of the classroom I am typically a soccer mom but, this summer I married the love of my life and the best step-father my son can ask for.  My son Alex loves to swim, ride his bike, and climb all over his stepfather!  Shane (my new husband) is my stress reliever, loves to hunt and fish, and is a great father and family member.  I enjoy watching NCIS, Bones, and most comedic movies.  I am looking forward to the 2011-2012 year and seeing all my new Highclimbers....and my fantastic CSI!!
