​​​​​Basic Page Editing

 
Different staff are setup to edit certain webpages/websites that are related to their classroom or job.  If you have the settings icon in the top menu bar you are on the list of staff that can edit a webpage.  All of the pages in a website are stored in a folder or library called "Pages"
 
  1. ​To edit the page click on the settings​ icon Edit Icon  then click on "Edit Page" in the menu that pops up.Edit Icon in Top Menu



  2.  When editing your webpage you have a standard set of tools available in the editing ribbon.  They work the same as they would in a standard word processing application.Text Editing Ribbon​​


  3. When you are finished editing click on the "Save" button in the ribbon.  If you cannot see the save button, click on the "PAGE" tab in the ribbon.​​​​​​

  4. If you are editing a Publishing pages, you then have to Publish the page by clicking the "Publish" button in the ribbon.  If you cannot see the publish button, click on the "PUBLISH" tab in the ribbon.SPPublishInMenu.png
