Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center

Turning Pointe Survivor Advocacy Center offers services to children, youth, and families who have been impacted by domestic or sexual violence. Violence takes many forms and can include financial, emotional, or physical abuse. For more information, visit "Types of Abuse". Turning Pointe’s mission is to Provide Safety and Support for Survivors through Advocacy, Prevention Education and Action for Social Change. All services are free, confidential, nondiscriminatory, and sensitive to differences of race, color, religion, language, ability, national origin, ethnicity, sexual orientation, gender, age, and income. To ensure accessibility, we offer comprehensive services in English and Spanish as well as a language line for translation into other languages.

Turning Pointe advocates work with survivors to ensure that they have access to the support and resources that they may need. In addition to emergency shelter, case management, crisis intervention, safety planning, and resource referrals, advocates can help survivors navigate medical, legal, and educational systems in the aftermath of abuse. Turning Pointe also offers support groups, youth programming, and violence prevention education. To provide the best possible support services for survivors of abuse and their families, Turning Pointe partners with other social services agencies, law enforcement, schools, courts, health care providers, groups and other community resources.
