Olympic Middler schooler participates in the Financial Reality Fair
Olympic Middler schoolers get a glimpse of budgeting and making wise financial decisions

Olympic Middler schoolers got a glimpse of budgeting and making wise financial decisions during the Financial Reality Fair hosted by the Shelton High School DECA, marketing club. Fifth and sixth grade students participated in a hands-on activity where they received a monthly income and had to make financial decisions based on their needs and wants. Volunteers from Our Community Credit Union acted as “Financial Counselors” to the students as they completed their workshop. A huge shout out goes to Our Community Credit Union, Peninsula Credit Union, and SHS DECA for your collaboration!

Career Expo 2019
Students explore ideas for their futures at the 2019 Career Expo

This week, all high school students from CHOICE High School and Shelton High School had the opportunity to meet with representatives from a wide variety of businesses and colleges during the 2019 Career & College Expo Students explored their interests and had conversations with career professionals while learning about different career fields and gathering ideas for their futures.
