Back to School Fest

The annual Back to School Festival will be held at Olympic Middle School on August 26, 2023, from 10am-1pm.  At the festival, families will have the opportunity to receive free backpacks, school supplies, a meal, community resources, free haircuts by Cali Cutz, and more. Our goal is to have all of our students and families feel that they have access to the resources they need in order to successfully start out their school year.

Can you help?
Based on the years prior we will serve close to 1,000 people in our community at this event alone.  Any monetary donation will be used towards buying the things necessary to make this festival possible, which could include: backpacks, school supplies, hot dogs, hot dog buns, chips, bottled water, and more.
There are multiple ways that you can help!

  • Monetary donations and checks can be sent to the district office: Shelton School District, ℅ Krystal Moore, 700 S. 1st St, Shelton, WA 98584
  • Purchase an item(s) from our Amazon Wishlist
  • Contact Betty Uriostegui if you would like to volunteer your time and work at the event: [email protected] or 360-490-1235

Thank you for considering partnering with us this year, and thank you in advance for your contribution.
