Shelton School District Board Earns 2025 Board of Distinction Award for Eighth YearWe are excited to announce that the Shelton School District Board of Directors has been recognized as a 2025 Board of Distinction by the Washington State School Directors' Association for the eighth consecutive year!

WSSDA representatives praised the board's laser-like focus on the strategic plan goals, including new hiring initiatives and professional development to support progress. Their commitment to what is essential for all learners, along with their clear and thoughtful alignment with board standards and benchmarks, demonstrates strong governance.
