We are excited to announce that open enrollment for the Shelton School District will begin on March 1, 2025!


Who is eligible for Open Enrollment?

New Students: Students who live within SSD boundaries and who are NEW to SSD -this includes students entering kindergarten!

Intra-district transfers: Students who live within SSD boundaries and would like to transfer from one elementary school to another must complete an intra-district request each year.

Choice Transfers: These transfer requests must be completed by SSD students who wish to attend school in another district OR students who live outside of SSD boundaries, but who want to attend a school inside the SSD.

Home School: Intent to provide home-based instruction.
