Shelton's Summer School

Summer School

Summer School

If your son/daughter has failed classes and needs to retrieve credits to graduate on time, summer school is a great opportunity to do this! An email was sent out to all families that had a student that failed one or more classes. If you have questions, please reach out to your child’s counselor.

Due to the closing of schools, SHS summer school will be offered remotely through our on online credit recovery system, Fuel Ed. Fuel Ed is a proficiency based program that allows students to move at their own pace. Students may enroll in two classes at a time. Once they finish a class, they may enroll in another class, if needed. Summer school will take place Monday through Thursday, from June 29th through July 23rd. Teachers will hold Zoom office hours Monday-Thursday from 9:00-11:00 to support students who are struggling with content, have questions, or need clarification on topics.

Space is limited and juniors will be given first priority. The last day to register for classes is Monday, June 22nd. To register for summer school please email Angie Gourley with the following information:

  • Student’s First Name
  • Student’s Last Name
