Please read this entire message to ensure your enrollment with the Shelton School District.

Open Enrollment Window:
February 26 - April 19, 2024, 5:00 PM 

  • Before your student is allowed to come to school they need to be fully vaccinated against vaccine-preventable diseases and have medically verified immunization records, a printed Certificate of Immunization Status (CIS), or health care provider signed Certificates of Exemption at school as proof.   • To enroll, your child must be five years old on or before August 31st.
  • Families that lack a stable living situation have certain rights or protections under the McKinney-Vento Act. If you do not have a stable address, proof of residency, your child's birth certificate, and/or other documents normally required for enrollment, this will not be an obstacle in enrolling your child in school. We can partner with you to make sure there are no educational barriers for your child, including help with online enrollment.   • Please complete the enrollment forms:
    • Enrollment Form
    • Wellness Assessment Health History Form
    • Ethnicity Form
    • Shelton School District will accept any one of a variety of documents for purposes of verifying a student's age, including but not limited to, a birth certificate, passport, an entry in a family bible, an adoption record, an affidavit from a parent, a previously verified school record, or any other document permitted by law.
