NEW Kindergarten-12th Students: ALL students who live within SSD boundaries who are NEW to SSD 

  • Every student in Shelton School District is automatically assigned to their attendance area school, based on where they live. Families can also choose to apply to request that their student attends a different school and/or apply for the Dual Language Program K-4 through the Open Enrollment/Transfer Request Process*Please note there is limited space at Bordeaux Elementary and Mt. View Elementary for transfers and boundary exemptions.

  • Enrollment may be completed by downloading and printing the enrollment forms below and include the following:
      • Enrollment Form
      • Wellness Assessment Health History Form
      • Ethnicity Form
      • Shelton School District will accept any one of a variety of documents for purposes of verifying a student's age, including but not limited to, a birth certificate, passport, an entry in a family bible, an adoption record, an affidavit from a parent, a previously verified school record, or any other document permitted by law.
      • Medically verified immunization record
      • Proof of address
      • Optional Forms:
        • Indian Student Eligibility Certification Form for Title VI Indian Education Formula Grant Program - 506 Form
        • McKinney-Vento Housing Transitions Program Form
    • Pick up a packet at your neighborhood school or at the District Office - 700 S. First St, Shelton, WA 98584
    • Request a packet through mail by calling 360-426-1687 and leave a message stating your request and providing a mailing address.
  • Completed paper registration forms may be returned one of the following ways:
    • Drop-off or mail to your assigned neighborhood school:
      • Bordeaux Elementary: 350 University Ave
      • Evergreen Elementary: 900 West Franklin Street
      • Mt. View Elementary: 534 East K Street 
      • Olympic Middle School: 800 East K Street
      • Oakland Bay Jr. High: 3301 Shelton Springs Road
      • Shelton High School: 3737 N Shelton Springs Road
      • CHOICE School: 807 West Pine Street
      • Cedar High School: 937 W Alpine Way

    • Please not that faxed forms will not be accepted
  • Your student will be enrolled once your completed registration packet is received, which includes medically verified immunization information, birth certificate, and proof of address.
