Open Enrollment begins March 1, 2025

If you need assistance with any of the processes described below, please contact your student’s school.

Intra-district transfers
Students who live within SSD boundaries and would like to transfer from one elementary school to another must complete an intra-district request each year. Please see Board Policy 3131 for additional details.

Transfer Requests may be completed in one of the following ways:

  • Complete the form electronically through Family Access in Skyward.
  • Download the form below, complete, and turn it in to the school where your student currently attends.
  • Request a form through the mail by calling 360-426-1687 and leaving a message stating your request and providing a mailing address. The completed form should be turned in to the school where the student currently attends.

Choice Transfers
These transfer requests must be completed by SSD students who wish to attend school in another district OR students who live outside of SSD boundaries, but who want to attend a school inside the SSD. Please see Board Policy 3141 for additional details.

All Choice Transfers (either into or out of the district) must be completed online.
